History Class

We had a history class today, and unlike the other history classes, it was quite interesting for me.

In the middle of the class, I received a phone call from the IMO team leader, Irena. I picked up the phone and talked to her. She said I had to come over to her office, on the other side of the city. I had to sign some very important papers for the visa to Vietnam, where this year’s IMO is. While I was talking, the teacher noticed me and tried to tell me something, but I kept talking. Then the whole class began telling me to listen to the teacher, but I didn’t.

The moment of victory came when I hanged up the phone, and said through her near-screaming voice: “Mrs professor, I have to go”.

The teacher stood in amazement while I left the classroom.
